Lynn Fitzgerald is a Customer Service Representative who joined The Animal Hospital of Collin County team in April 1990. She as one daughter, Dawn. Between the two of them, they have 8 cats and 5 dogs. She loves to read, listen to music, travel and cheer on her favorite team, The Texas Rangers.
Laurie Petty is our Head Receptionist who joined the Animal Hospital of Collin County team in May 2000. When she is not at work, she enjoys scrapbooking, cross stitching, taking pictures, spending time with her family and friends, watching Survivor and The Golden Girls, She also likes to watch football, (being from Chicago, she loves the Bears), going to baseball games and watching her other half James play disc golf. They have 3 cats, Piggie, Cheryl and Joey.
Brandy Slaton is a Customer Service Representative who joined the Animal Hospital of Collin County team in March 2012. She is the proud mother of one son and 4 four-legged kids. Growing up in the surrounding community, she has made her love of animals known to everyone and enjoys interacting with our clients and their pets. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and horseback riding.
Sara Kelly is our Lead Technician who joined the Animal Hospital of Collin County team in March 2015. She has 3 fur kids. Two dogs, Sabrina and Levi and a cat named Penny. She is engaged to a Cornhusker from Nebraska. She graduated from Allen High School in 2010 and has fond memories of the Allen Eagle Escadrille, Allen FFA and Friday Night Lights. Her love of animals started at a very young age and has grown as she has. She also fosters and volunteers for a rescue organization, The Street Dog Project, which rescues dogs from the streets of Dallas.
Kelsey Pickrell is one of our Technicians who joined the Animal Hospital of Collin County team in February 2017. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma in 2016. She is currently enrolled in the Distance Education Veterinary Technology Program at Cedar Valley College. She and her family have 3 dogs, Coby, Kahlua, Tiger and a crested gecko. She also loves to play soccer.
Halee Burton is one of our Kennel Technicians and Customer Service Representatives. She joined the Animal Hospital of Collin County in July 2017. She has many interests but animal care is the most prominent. She plans on taking classes at Collin County Community College to become a certified Veterinary Technician. She has 2 cats, Sheba and Jones, 4 horses, Edil, Nugget, Blondie, Baby and 7 cows (yes, they all have names!) Her hobbies include reading, writing and drawing. She ran Cross Country for Lovejoy High School.
Chase Barnes is one of our Technicians who joined the Animal Hospital of Collin County team in August 2017. He went to Texas Tech where he received his Bachelor of Animal Science. He has a dog named Jamie and a cat named Jinxy. His hobbies include watching the Dallas Stars, movies and skateboarding. He has a 2nd degree black belt in Ta-kwon-do, and he was ranked 1st in Texas and 3rd in Worlds Weapon Competition in 2011.
Keegan Crable is one of our Kennel Technicians. He has worked in the veterinary field for 2 years and he joined the Animal Hospital of Collin County team in July 2017. He is currently taking a veterinary class in high school, He loves all animals but monkeys are his favorite. In the future he would love to work as a zookeeper taking care of the monkeys.
Cara Little is our Social Media Specialist who joined the Animal Hospital of Collin County team in January 2017. She graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University and has a Bachelor's degree in both Biology and Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 7 years , specializing in ICU and post anesthesia care. She married her college sweetheart, Dr. Rodney Little, in 2006. They have lived in Texas since 2011 and now have two sons, Ian and Zachary. They also have a 13 year old boxer, Peanut, who is a spoiled princess, In her spare time, she enjoys reading, scrapbooking and making jewelry. She also loves spending quality time with her family and traveling whenever she can.
Chris Hay is our Practice Manager who rejoined the team in May 2017. His love of animals started at the age of 10, volunteering at the Allen Animal Shelter. At 16 he worked at our hospital for 5 years as a Veterinary Technician, then worked as Shift Lead at an Emergency Animal Hospital, went to Alaska to work at another Emergency Hospital, came back to Texas working in Veterinary Ophthalmology, then joined the team here as a manager. He does not currently have any dogs, but plans to get a golden retriever when school and work permit appropriate time.
Martin Camacho is one of our technicians who joined The Animal Hospital of Collin County team in October of 2017. He has been around the veterinary business since he was 12 years old. He has 4 dogs, 2 cats and a bird. He enjoys spending time with his pets, girlfriend and family. His hobbies are anything that challenges him and his favorites are lifting weights, boxing and running. He also loves beaches and dancing.
